A Merry Christmas To YOU

Merry Christmas 2017!!

It’s been years since I have sent out Christmas cards so here goes. Here is a look at what we have been up to this last year.

We are still in Windsor and really like it here. It’s a small town that is growing fast. We love the convenience of being by schools and church and shopping. Within minutes. We also can ride bikes and walk or run to nearby things which are fun. For our stage in life.

Phil- He is working at Loveland Ford in Loveland. He likes this dealership and being there. In his spare time when he isn’t working he is either playing ball with Landon or playing disk golf or helping around the house. He also likes to go 4 wheeling when he can and get outdoors.

Tara- This year has gone by like a blur. Between running the kids around and being their taxi, teaching piano, trying to manage the house I have kept very busy. I was happy to visit my sister Heather in Arizona this summer and go out to Utah to take Landon to EFY for a weekI have had an awesome year and feel blessed...

Landon- Mostly he is still into soccer and basketball. When he isn’t playing one of those sports he is thinking out them. He played on P2P this summer and is on teams at WCA in Windsor He is a big help most of the time with his brothers... He is a sophomore this year.

Taylor- Loves to ride things like bikes, scooters, etc. Trampoline, park or, cameras, YouTube making movies etc. He keeps things going and takes care of Blake a lot at home. He is in 5th grade at WCA. Sad I am that he is almost done with elementary school.  He plays the piano also and is a good student.. He just turned 11..

Blake- Basically he is a wild ball of energy that lights up the room with his presence. Yep Taylor is his best friends and he loves anything with a ball, soccer, FB, bball, pool, throwing balls, etc. Hmm wonder what he is going to be like as he gets older. If there is a king in the house it’s him. But he loves preschool this year and he likes to sing also. He is 5. at junior preschool.

We live close to my parents and the kids get spoiled by their Aunt Erika and Uncle Christian whom we see often and are grateful for. Hop ing for a good year in 2018 healthy and happy. Wishing all of our friends an awesome year and season as we celebrate the birth of Christ.  We would love to see you if you are ever close by,

Happy New Year!

Tis the Season of business

Christmas is almost here. I haven't written for a while but there are a couple things I want to remember so here goes. First last week was insanely busy. Too much going to and Landon has bball season so that is an undertaking in itself. I am the team mom so I have arranged all the team dinners.
Landon has been well-a complainer. He has been complaining about everything school, friends, bball church.I told him I can't handle it anymore. Stop talking if he is complaining. . Blah blah blah. I can't take one more second of it. This is my last week of piano. I have had a couple group things that kids have been doing. I love teaching kids. My piano has been acting up again. Going out and in. It has been stressing me out.

Last Tuesday Taylor got his arrow of light and it was the same night as a MS and a HS choir. I told the choir I could do a play a couple songs go to Taylor's arrow of light ceremony that we had been planning for a year. So I raced back to the HS and MS and there was a train blocking my way so I was stalled for 10 minutes. The choir had to wait. I don't think I have ever been so stressed out in my life but I guess it was ok.
Last week everyone was sick with a fever and throw up and sore throat. Boys stayed home each 3 days and Blake now has an ear infection due to this. I am not feeling good either so I need to just calm down. Phil was sick also. Anyway I am hoping foe a better week. Kind of funny when it rains it pours. I am just going to go with the flow and forget it.

Taylors twin day

Taylor's has a new friend this year and it is Dyllann. They are best friends. Taylor is the banana man and Dyllann is the pineapple man. They wore these shirts to school on twin day and planned out their outfits. So funny and cute. 4th grade has been a good year. We had Mrs. Silk whom I love and Taylor had a great year.

Mothers day again

Hangin out with Blake and TAy

This year has gone by to fast. Sometimes I just want time to stop. Like on these days when blake was being so funny. Taylor has turned into my friend this year. He is always up to something or taking things apart and putting them back together.  Thank goodness he is here for Blake. I would be in so much trouble

Landon bball

Here is Landon's 9th grade team for WCA. This year he has played on a private league and school. He is so excited about bball. He practices 2 hours a day. I am proud of him and all he has accomplished. Sometimes its harder than people think to play sports and try and go to school.

Happy mother's day

Every mother's day I get a picture by the lilac bush in the front year. Landon looks really excited about his picture being taken. haha. Taylor is cool and Blake is just cute.

phils and Landons bday this year.

Phil turned 42 and Landon turned 15. WE just had cake and ice cream and sang to them.

Sunday afternoon fun

Summer is here!!!!!

Summer is finally here. The days of sleeping in staying up late, jumping on the trampoline, late night basketball, movies and enjoying the dark sky with the stars is here. I feel like it took us all of June to relax and to start enjoying life. Blake turned 5 and we had a birthday party for him. pirates! We went bowling which he loves. Landon has been playing a lot of basketball for the school and his team. Taylor has been jumping on the tramp and playing bball. We finally figured out what has been bothering him with hi heals so he is getting some insoles soon. Phil has been working but seems to enjoy being home and relaxing at night. He has helped out a lot with Landon and everything. it's hard to be 15.

Anyway ot has been a crazy winter and I have decided to slow down a a little bit and enjoy things. I hope I can do that this next year

Pinewood Derby

Grandpa and Taylor finally got 2nd place this year at the Pinewood Derby. It was awesome. After last year where we melted the paint onto the tire and I ran to the scout store 2 hours before the race so we could stat over, we finally got it right and at least placed. WE have been doing pinewood derby cars for 8 years. Some of the cars have been Squirell 1, Squirrel 2, Mater, Blake Bear, and now the Flash. The Flash was awesome and Grandpas was proud.

A Nice Break

This week we have stayed home mostly but were able to sneak away to Colorado Springs for Spring break a couple of days. We went to the Zoo and Fargos Pizza and mini golf. We stayed in a great hotel and the kids swam and played ping pong and wii. They had a nice fireplace and lounge area so I was able to relax and read and workout.  Blake loved feeding the giraffes lettuce. He asks me where do giraffes come from Mommy? He asks all the time, it is so cute. and Taylor even liked it to. I took Taylor and Landon to the mall. They are getting older. Anyway it was nice to just do some things as a family. We wanted to go to Garden of the Gods but it was cold outside so we will go back in a few months when things are dry. Now we are vegging out at home and cleaning up and relaxing . It's been a good week.
