December fun!

                             The Christmas Season is upon us. December 1st hits and all craziness lets loose. We have had a wonderful season doing simple things. This year I have tried to simplify and celebrate what is important this season Easy to get distracted.

Lights , traffic, shopping and fun.It was pajama day at school in. Blake dressed up like the Grinck! Pretty cute! Landon and Taylor both had finals. We had plans to go to Salt Lake for a wedding and see the Christmas lights. But Blake and Landon were sick so we postponed that trip to another time. 

This season we went to School polar Express night, saw a live Nativity, a mini nutcracker and did all the normal Christmas stuff. It has been cold but no snow which is a bummer.

 Phil  has been working a lot and the boys have played basketball. I had a Christmas Piano Recital which was awesome to hear so many Christmas tunes. The kids all played so well. but probably I won't do it around the holidays again because of schedules and stress. Candy and sugar plums are a 24/7 thing when you are in christmas mode. Hot Chocolate and treats around every corner. Seems like the Season crept up on us.  I did find a couple of awesome Christmas Songs this year. Here are the 2 I found

Taylor is 12

Pup turned 12!! We call him Pup. He is so sweet and starting to get in to the tween back talk. But we love him anyway. Everything in 12 year old world is " I don;t know." Whatever you ask the answer is always, "I don't know?
Anyway we are excited for him to be 12. I guess. I shed a tear because my sweet boy has grown up!

Merry Christmas 2018

 WOW does time fly. All Summer is gone and fall. We started another year of school. Blake is a kindergartener. Taylor started middle school 6th grade. Landon is a junior. We are all still at Windsor Charter Academy. Taking the good with the bad. Blake is going two full days and one half day. He is loving it. His teachers name is Mrs. Klein and she is perfect for kindergarten and for him. I am so happy and relieved about it.


I am not teaching as much piano this year but still so busy. Not sure why!! haha. The boys take up a lot of work and they are involved in sports etc. Taylor loves Fort nite, a game and he would play it all day long. Landon is doing bball and soccer. Blake is a tag along and will play whatever he wants. Mostly I have been just trying to keep the laundry done etc.

It's a weird thing when your kids grown up and don't want to play toys with you anymore. They have to find their own way and we discoever new things to do. It's alittle hard for me to let them grow up. Sometimes it would be nice to just keep them in a box but that is not how life it.


This fall has brought a lot of home work and school again. Taylor seems to be growing up fast. He turned 12 a could of weeks ago. NO!! my sweet baby is 12

Landon

Landon is growing up. This summer he is playing P2P games and tournaments. He is busy with that and being at home. I was hoping he would do summer school but he wanted a break so that is up to him. He is very helpful to me and the other boys. I am happy he is growing up but sad at the same time. He is a really great ball player and always so fun to watch him play. Last week he went to EFY Utah with some boys from the church and I am glad he went a 2nd year. He says he won't go back but I was happy for the spiritual experience.  He is almost ready for his permit and hoping he gets his patriarchal blessing soon so he can feel some guidance in his life. We love him so much.. These are some boys he was on the soccer team with last year. Many are leaving and moving and Paul the foreign exchange students went back to China. We had a going away party for him and many boys came. It was a good evening of soccer and movies.

summer is here

Blake's birthday was a few days ago. June 19th! We celebrated and then he had a little party and we took 4 boys to Jumpin a place kids can jump. It was fun! The boys had a blast. Taylor and Landon were like to old to got o the place so I am happy he was able to go with a few friends.

Tomorrow is Sundya. The day of rest! I have to teach sunbeams and play for some people doing a voilin duet in the other ward.
Blake is on my bed and he is going to dance to his new favorite song. I  ia i am so happy he sings. He got a ben 10 watch that lights up and he is runing around.  The others are in our basement hiding. playing xbox and relaxing. Today was the finals for Landons bball games. They places 3rd. For the first year it was good. Coach Anderson has been amazing We have ateam banquest Tuesday night and I am happy and sad the seasonsi over. Landon has really improved and he is doing ok. I wish he would focus on school more but I can't force him to. I guess I feel like it is important and he is mart enought odo it. But I am so tired offighting with him.


We had a surprise bday party for him and we had 30 kids here! we surprised him and they ate cake and danced nad played the xbox and wii. I think he liked it. Christian and Erika both helped me so that was awesome.
I could have done it without them.

I am feeling alittle better and hoping to start working out this week! everyday I want to do something. And play the piano a new song everyday is my goal. I also want to sew and so some decorating and painting. Anyway I have big plans but I am exhausted. IDadand I drove down to Denver and took my friend Vivi. Her son Logan is on the team with Landon andI am happy they are friends. Anyway, going to bed

My week

Bball practice. Preschool drop off. Science fair projects. Bball. Scheduling physical therapist, piano. Piano lessons, Cleaning house. Snow! Friday craziness. Piano. Blake gymnastics and playgroup. Food. preparation. Vitamins. two little voices staying up too late in bed with snowflake, our pretend stuffed dog. watching friends, working out etc.

Blake brings laughter to our house and Taylor is the serious one who takes care of Blake. So fun. Blake cries when he loses NBA 2K. He hates to lose. Taylor is into shooting games and racing. They love ROBLOX!
so much more technology then when I was a kid. I am so unorganized!! yikes! Anyway another crazy week. And it is snowing. Hopefully we can do some sledding soon!!!!!
